  • I have a friend that has a son who gets food stamps well that bridgecard thing. She gets $276 and lives in florida. That is enough to feed them both for a whole month and have extra if you spend it right and don't buy useless junk. They also get assistance for living which is like $300.00 a month.

  • AMEN!!! Oatmeal is $1.89 for a box if you buy store brand. Milk $2.50 if you get 2%. Bread $2.00 for a whole loaf, and sometimes cheaper. A jar of peanut butter $4.00 (if you get the big jar), and jelly is about $2.50 so if you add it all up that is something that the average family can afford.

  • I love Miley. I think she is a very beautiful and talented young girl. I think she is head strong and know what she herself wants. I have seen pictures of her out and about and she wears normal looking clothes much like what all the other people her age are wearing. On stage is different.

  • I personally don't care about peoples sexual preferences. It is their business. I am not here to judge anyone. But I don't see where paying someone more because they are gay will even things out. There are lots of couples both gay and straight that could qualify for this.

  • I would rather take a cut in pay than to lose my job which is what will happen if they don't take a pay cut. Did you read the comments from the workers? They are already whining about paying their bills. Cut back on a personal level. Lots of people do it it isn't a big deal.

  • The people who are complaining about this decrease in salary should keep in mind they still have a job and still have benefits. How insulting to people who are out there that have lost their jobs and they are struggling to get by on unemployment and who can not afford cobra for insurance.
